Percussion Instruments

Sing songs, speak chants and rhymes. Add actions to songs, chants and rhymes.

Explore making different sounds with their voices. Keep a steady beat when singing, speaking and chanting. Know how to make their voice high and low (pitch)

Copy simple rhythmic patterns. Follow simple symbols to represent sounds (eg long and short, tap and shake, loud and quiet).  Copy rhythmic patterns in time with the beat

Follow symbols which represent sounds including steady beat and use actions to show pitch changes
